goal, which once achieved will allow you to rest in whiteness once again. It is a never-ending process until we dismantle the contradictory substructure of racism that undergirds and undermines the #democracy we hold so dear. Remain engaged, even when your children have graduated or you have moved. Find the courage ro address in the moment. You waited until you were safe—so no real risk for you! This is historically the ways of white folk. Pass on the racial lessons learned, even belatedly, to children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Only then can we remove the scarring of racism.
